ACOTAR Book 6?
✨It’s happening. It’s HAPPENING. ✨
Raise your hand if you feel you have been personally victimized by the Author Sarah J. Maas (SJM). And by victimized I mean, hanging on by a thread waiting for her to come back to the bookish world after dropping her last book House of Flame and Shadow, the third book in the series Crescent City. ✨
In an interview with Jenna Bush Hager on the Today show in January of 2024, Maas talks about how the next book she has to write is the new A Court of Thorns and Roses (ACOTAR) book. But we will have to wait a while.
This series is how I fell in love with reading in my mid twenties, and while I believe it’s over hyped. This series has a special part in my heart. THAT BEING SAID…
Today Sarah posted a video to Social media (I follow her on Instagram), with a video of her closing a notebook with “ACOTAR 6” on top, a laptop closing and then popping a bottle of champagne with the caption “First drafts done”.
Who the next book is about is still a mystery… Some commenters hoping book six will be the story of Feyre’s (The female main character of book 1-4) sister Elain and her love interest which we still don’t really know. Since her last book (book 5) A Court Sliver Flames in the series was about the eldest sister Nesta and her love interest Cassian, and Feyre and Rhy’s story is supposed to be over one can only hope our next book has another Bat Boy or fated mate to be “the one”. Who knows honestly. We all know Sarah loves to keep us on our toes, and thinking we know all the answers until we don’t.
Either way I’m screaming! While we obviously still have to wait a little bit longer, it’s exciting to know that the next book will be ACOTAR book SIX!
