Quick Summary (Spoiler-Free!)

They’ve all been waiting, the whole town. Everyone knows that best friends Jacinto and Martina will end up together. It’s a small town, that's just what happens. Maybe? But with commitment issues and feeling stuck in that small town, Jacinto and Martina are now stuck in a relationship that is supposed to be fake.. But does the whole town know more than they do? Why does this fake dating feel so real?

What I Loved:

  • Favorite element #1 It’s Best friends to lovers.. Honestly that trope always has me sucked in. I mean why does it take you so long to see why you both are meant to be! HELLO .

  • Favorite element #2 I love that it’s set in Argentina. It’s a different change for those that are so used to reading books from the US or UK. Maria did an amazing job bringing the small town to life.

  • Favorite element #3 The spice was perfect🌶️ It wasn't overly spicy to where the only point of the book was two people getting it on, but it was definitely there!

Final Thoughts:

Honestly I loved this book.❤️  The emotion, and the love for each other was all there. You could definitely tell the whole town was rooting (or more pushing them together) for them which was cute some of the time, and they all knew well before they did that Jacinto and Martina were meant to be. The MMC Jacinto was such a catch and I adored him so much. Such a golden retriever man, and the love and patience he had for Martina you could see it. I screamed, literally screamed when that door finally locked and it was a done deal. This book was such a cute cozy small town romance. If you’re looking for a change of pace from all the enemies to lovers then this friends to lovers will give you everything you need in a romance.

Thanks to Maria Rigou for letting me be part of her awesome ARC team and allowing me the opportunity to be able top read this book! I 100% recommend this book and the other two books in this series, and I cant wait for what Maria comes out with next!
