📖 Light’s Out by Navessa Allen – Book Review

⭐ Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Quick Summary (Spoiler-Free!)

ER Trauma Nurse Ally has gotten herself in a pickle. One with a masked man who likes to post online with his shirt off. And she might have commented a few one to many times to catch his eye and now he has become her stalker. Maybe she might just be okay with him breaking into her house and taking videos in her house, and on her bed…. But what happens when they both get in a little too deep and start developing more than just a shared kink but feelings for eachother and maybe a murder?

What I Loved:

  • Favorite element #1 The banter back and forth was fantastic!

  • Favorite element #2 The spice was spicen. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Honestly if you want a good spicy book then this should be on your TBR.

  • Favorite element #3 Josh tries so hard to be a hard ass, but honestly he’s a Golden Retriever man and it made my heart so happy just the love you can see he has for her. All the little things he does for Ally, and just wanting to take care of her is perfection.

What I Didn’t Love:

  • One thing I didn't love was sometimes I felt like they were more friends that were annoyed with each other, than the stalker/ stalked dynamic I thought it was and wanted.

Final Thoughts:

I gave this book 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. It made me giggle like a schoolgirl, pissed off, and maybe blush a time or two. I loved it and am excited to deep dive into the next book. I loved it regardless of the feeling like they were friends even though they were supposed to not really know each other. Maybe if it was more stalkerish I definitely would think it would be perfect.

📚 Another book down, another pile waiting to be read. My TBR hates me- but my heart is full ❤️. See you in the next review!
